English Language Advisory Committee
- Meets bi-monthly, at your school during the school year
- Members review school site plans, test scores and other data about student performance
- Members make recommendations to the principal ways to improve education for ELs; specifically instructional programs and intervention and teacher training for English learners
- Members make recommendations to School Site Council about development of the school site plan
- A member from ELAC can serve on District's ELAC (DELAC)
- The percentage of parents/guardians of ELs in this group must match the overall school's percentage of ELs
