Happy New Year! Parents, if you’re looking for an idea for a new year’s resolution, I humbly suggest “becoming (even) more aware of what’s happening at Crittenden.” One brand new way of doing this is to like Crittenden on Facebook! Yes, that’s right, Crittenden now has a page on the most ubiquitous social network on the planet: www.facebook.com/crittendenmvwsd. Like our page please, and check in regularly for updates and news.
And of course, you should also follow us on Twitter for school updates and Instagram for fun pictures and videos of student life and local learning opportunities).
I’d love to hear from you through any of the social networks, through comments to this blog, or through email or phone.
Eat at Chevy’s: January 15
From 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., present the flyer in the attachments this week, and Chevy’s will donate 20% of your bill to Crittenden. Make copies for your friends and family and encourage them to go. Better yet, make it a friends and family night out! Thank you in advance for your support.
Like breaking records? How about the Walkathon fundraising record?
Please join us for a planning meeting on Friday, January 9 from 1 to 3 PM in the Crittenden office to learn how you can help with this year's walkathon. We need your help to make the walkathon a success and maybe even break the fundraising record of $15,000. For questions and/or to RSVP please email Elana Feinsmith at firstname.lastname@example.org or Fiona Brydon at email@example.com.
