Crittenden Middle School is on the move!  During the past few transition years, programs have been implemented to meet the needs of our diverse and ever-changing population.  A cohesive and collaborative system of improvement has been created.  Teacher teams are working together across grade levels and curricular areas to provide common high expectations for academics and school climate.  The focus is exciting and should help make dramatic changes in achievement as measured by API and AYP.

Drawing from a variety of research-based programs to increase student achievement in a diverse school setting, staff has shared techniques as part of a system to hold students accountable by having them monitor their own progress, as well as giving them up-to-date, data-driven goals and feedback.

Our program supports the unique needs of adolescents in a variety of ways, with electives including AVID, computers, and art; after school programs, athletics, and clubs; and support programs including individual and group counseling .

Excitement is building about the opportunities and possibilities for Crittenden students!
