Crittenden's After School Sports Program is open to any student who holds a 2.0 GPA or higher (with no more than one F) and is good standing with our school. We look for those students who represent Crittenden well, have good citizenship, and have a love for the sport in which they hope to compete. Our school is in a competitive Santa Clara Valley Middle School Athletic League, and many of our student-athletes continue playing sports in high school.
Every sport runs approximately six weeks, with two weeks of practice and four weeks of games. Students are asked for a donation of $60.00, which helps to cover our referees, busing, and the cost of coaches. We offer scholarships to families in need, and the request must be in writing to our Athletic Director.
Below are the sports that we offer. Schedules for each season will be sent home with the players at the start of the season. Games will also be listed on our school's public calendar. Contact our Athletic Director with any questions.
B=boys' sports; G=girls' sports
Volleyball (B, G)
Cross Country (B, G)
Track and Field (B, G)
If you have questions or want to coach any of the sports, please contact our Athletic Director, Marco Arce (firstname.lastname@example.org).
All students are eligible to participate in activities at the beginning of the year. Continued participation in extracurricular activities and extracurricular grade level/class field trips will be granted based on consideration of the following criteria:
- The student maintains a 2.00 GPA or better.
- The student’s progress report reflects academic and/or behavioral improvement.
- The student has paid all debts to the school, including school fundraisers, library, damaged or lost books, and debts to the cafeteria, music department and athletic department.
- The student has no suspensions and no more than two behavior referrals in the current trimester or the last trimester, depending on the situation.
If you have any questions, please contact our student advisor, Arturo Noriega (email@example.com).
